International students in Canada who are unable to complete tier studies in the time period stipulated by the Study permit will need to apply for a Study permit extension. This is essential for students to continue studying longer than the validity period of their study permit.
To extend the permit, the international student has to submit an application with the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to extend the duration of their study permit.
