An immigration practice with a soul.

SAAB Immigration insignia: the letters S and A drawn as one interlocking shape, for Samaira and Abir

Samaira
& Abir

Every business has an origin story. Mine is my kids.

Before I am a consultant, I am a father. SAAB is Samaira and Abir. Sa from Samaira, Ab from Abir. The S and the A in the insignia are drawn as one shape, sharing the same strokes. You cannot pull them apart.

Putting their names on the door was never branding. It is the standard I am held to. Everything here has to be something they would be proud to have their name attached to, long after I have stopped working.

A note from the founder

My name says something similar. Dikshit comes from the Sanskrit word diksha, which means instruction, or being initiated into knowledge. A Dikshit is someone who receives that knowledge and then passes it on. Learning it is only half the job. The other half is teaching it to whoever needs it. That is why so much of this site is knowledge rather than sales. A good deal of immigration work can be handled by the applicant without representation, and where that is the case I would rather hand someone the information and let them get on with it. It is also why I mentor new consultants through the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants mentorship programme.

The test I apply to every file

Would I tell my own child this, if they were sitting where this client is sitting? Not the easy answer, and not the one that keeps the file open. The one I would give my own family.

Sometimes that answer is hard to hear. If your case has a problem, you are better off hearing it from me now than finding out from IRCC in eighteen months. So I say it early, while you can still do something about it.

Do it once, do it right.

A refused application is never just a lost fee. It is a year of your life, the money already spent, and a refusal on your record that makes the next attempt harder. So we would rather take longer over the assessment and file once, properly.

That is where the name came from. This is what we do with it.

Our vision

To be measured by the lives we help move forward rather than the number of files we open, so that everyone who reaches us leaves better placed than they arrived.

Our mission

To tell every person who contacts us where they really stand, whether they hire us or not, and to give them enough to decide what to do next, with every answer traced to a rule, a policy or a decision.

Our goal

To be the place people turn to first for a straight answer on Canadian immigration, whether or not they ever become clients. We read the rules, the policy changes and the decisions as they land, then explain what actually matters in language you can use, and keep it current so it is worth coming back to.

None of this matters much on its own, but it shows up in how the client is treated and how the case is actually handled.

What we do

The files that
end up here.

A refusal. A procedural fairness letter. Lost status. An Express Entry, sponsorship or permit case that has become complicated, or one that cannot afford to go wrong the first time. SAAB Immigration Services Inc. is a CICC-regulated practice with offices in Kitchener and Mississauga, acting for clients across Canada and overseas. We will tell you what the law allows, what it will take, and whether it is worth doing.
Where most firms stop, we keep going. For refused applications, refugee claims, judicial reviews and PRRAs, we work directly with our affiliated law office, so your licensed RCIC and your legal representation sit under one roof. One file, one team, done right. See how we handle refusals →

Comprehensive Immigration Solutions

Our Services

SAAB Immigration Services Inc. does not dabble in a little of everything. We handle the full range of Canadian immigration, and we take on the files many firms turn away: refusals, procedural fairness letters, and the complex cases where the stakes are highest. Two offices in Kitchener and Mississauga, clients across Canada and around the world, one standard on every file.

Here is where we help most:

  • Temporary Residence Applications
Study permits, visitor visas and work permits, including extensions and restoration of status when a permit has already run out.
  • Permanent Residence
Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs and the other routes to PR, starting with an honest read on which one you actually qualify for.
  • Business Immigration
Entrepreneur and investor routes, including the provincial business streams, for people bringing a business or capital to Canada.
  • Family Class Sponsorship
Sponsoring a spouse, partner, child or parent, including the relationship evidence that decides most of these cases.
  • Temporary Foreign Workers
LMIAs and employer specific work permits, for employers hiring from abroad and for workers already in Canada.
  • TRPs and Refusals
Refusals, procedural fairness letters, inadmissibility and temporary resident permits. This is the work we are best known for.

Meet Our Founder

Mr. Dikshit Soni

Leading with Experience and Expertise

Dikshit Soni, RCIC R536007, is the Founder and Principal Consultant of SAAB Immigration Services Inc. and a Commissioner of Oaths in Ontario. He holds a B.Sc and an MBA, spent more than a decade in sales and business development with global brands, and has worked in Canadian immigration and international education since 2012.

Most of his practice sits at the difficult end of the work. Refusals, procedural fairness letters, appeals, and files that arrive after something has already gone wrong. He has represented clients from six continents, is a certified IELTS instructor, and speaks on Canadian immigration on radio and television, including a weekly live segment on 101.3 FM.

Away from the files he writes code. Everything on this site is built and maintained in house rather than bought or outsourced, from the calculators and the processing time tool to the invitation letter generators. Most of it started as a tinker project on a quiet evening.

Our values are specific enough to be held to. We tell you what the law says, not what you were hoping to hear. Every answer traces back to a rule, a policy or a decision. If we would not advise our own family to do it, we will not advise you to do it. And if we cannot help you, we say so and tell you why.

Not sure which program you qualify for?

The free immigration assessment is a structured intake, not a quiz. You give us your age, education, work history, language results and family situation. We read it against the programs that are actually open right now and tell you which streams you qualify for, which ones you do not, and what would have to change.

  • What it costs
nothing, and there is no obligation to retain us afterwards.
  • How long it takes
about ten minutes, faster if you have your dates and language test results in front of you.
  • Who reads it
a licensed RCIC in our office. There is no automated score at the end of it.
  • What you get back
a straight answer on which streams are open to you and what your file is still missing.

If you have already booked a consultation with us, fill this in before the call. It means we spend the time on your options instead of on your history.
