Educational Background

I hold a B.Sc in Hospitality Management from NCHMCT/IGNOU in India and an MBA in Marketing from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. My diverse career began in corporate roles with renowned companies such as Bose Corporation, Mercedes Benz, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Ermenegildo Zegna. I also worked in business development in the audio/video and system integration sector, handling high-end consumer homes and large commercial projects. Additionally, I pursued studies at the University of British Columbia (UBC) towards a designation as a Certified Residential Appraisal, gaining experience with the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC).

Immigration Consultancy Experience

In 2012, I entered the Canadian immigration field as an Education Counsellor with Canam Consultants in India, representing numerous colleges and universities. Later, I worked with a Canada-based law firm, heading their office in India, gaining invaluable experience in Canadian immigration. After moving to Canada in 2015 and gaining PR in 2016, I served as an International Student Rep and later as Head of Admissions at a Private Career College from November 2017 to June 2023. I successfully coordinated the college’s DLI status, wrote diploma curriculums, and acted as a liaison with various Canadian immigration and educational bodies including IRCC, CBSA, MTCU, Pearson Vue, National Association of Career Colleges (NACC), Microsoft and more.

Professional Achievements

I completed my Immigration Practitioners license at Herzing College in 2019, co-founded Immitrust Visa and Immigration Services Inc., and eventually founded SAAB Immigration Services in July 2020. I have represented over 500 clients in the past five years, from 6 continents. Additionally, I am a Certified IELTS instructor by IDP and provide soft skills and lifestyle coaching.

Personal Interests

An avid reader and technology enthusiast, I am passionate about global affairs, automobiles, and flying, occasionally taking local flights on a Cessna 182. I enjoy music, playing the piano and drums, and am an accomplished photographer. My approach is to “Follow your passion, so you don’t have to work a day in your life.” I speak English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu, and my name, Dikshit, means someone who gives education (Diksha), a role I strive to fulfill through my work in immigration consulting.

Media Presence

I have been actively involved in media, hosting radio talk shows on immigration at Radio 10 ka Dum on 101.3 FM in GTA and appearing on TV shows like Des Pardes Live on Charki Kala TV in India as an International College Rep. My commitment to providing up-to-date and helpful advice is reflected in my extensive training in client service and communications.
