Sponsor your spouse or partner for Canadian permanent residence.

Spousal sponsorship looks straightforward, but the stakes are high. A seemingly innocent mistake, a thin file or an unanswered question can lead to a refusal, and in some cases to a finding of misrepresentation or inadmissibility that can follow you for years. This is exactly what we specialize in. We build family class applications right the first time, with the evidence and the clear, honest account of your relationship that officers actually look for.

    What sponsorship actually involves

Genuineness is what the officer is really assessing

Sponsoring a spouse or partner is not simply a matter of filling in forms. The officer’s central question is whether your relationship is genuine and was not entered into for immigration. That judgment is made on the evidence you provide and the way your relationship is explained. Applications are refused not because the relationship is not real, but because it was not presented clearly, the evidence was thin, or an obvious question was left unanswered. Our job is to make sure your application answers those questions before they are ever asked.

    What we handle

    The sponsorship work we do

    Spousal sponsorship (inland)

Sponsoring a spouse already in Canada, with an open work permit while the application is processed.

    Spousal sponsorship (outland)

Sponsoring a spouse abroad through the applicable visa office, often the faster route.

    Common-law partners

Sponsoring a partner you have lived with for at least a year, where proof of cohabitation is decisive.

    Conjugal partners

For couples kept apart by circumstance who cannot marry or live together, a category that needs careful handling.

    Sponsorship appeals (IAD)

Where a sponsorship is refused, we assess and run the appeal to the Immigration Appeal Division.

    Refused sponsorships and PFLs

Refusals on genuineness or a procedural fairness letter, reviewed and answered on their actual grounds.

    How we build it

How we prepare a sponsorship that holds up

A strong sponsorship is built, not assembled. Here is what that means in practice.

    Confirm eligibility first

Both the sponsor’s eligibility and the category that fits your situation, before anything is filed.

    Build the relationship evidence

The right proof, organised and dated, that shows a genuine and continuing relationship over time.

    Write the relationship narrative

A clear, honest account of how you met, your history together, and your life now, in your own voice.

    Answer the hard questions early

Age gaps, short courtships, prior refusals, or immigration history addressed head on, not left for the officer to raise.

    File it correctly

Complete forms, the right supporting documents, and nothing that invites an avoidable request or delay.

Stay with you to the decision

Additional requests, procedural fairness letters, or an appeal, handled by the same office that filed the application.

    Who handles your case

Difficult family files are what we are known for

Complex and refused files are the core of our practice, not a sideline. Other licensed RCICs refer their own clients’ refused sponsorships to us when a file has gone wrong. That is the clearest measure of where this work is done well.

    Dikshit Soni, Founder and Principal

A Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, RCIC R536007, with 14 years on family sponsorship and complex files.

A barrister and solicitor in house

IAD appeals and Federal Court litigation are handled in house, so a refused sponsorship does not have to leave our office.

    Trusted by other consultants

Other RCICs send us their refused sponsorships, including cases turned down on genuineness.

    A straight assessment

We tell you honestly how your case looks, and the strongest way to present it, before you commit to anything.

    Our record

    Sponsorships we have carried through

    Genuineness

    A refusal overturned on appeal

    Inland

Approved with an open work permit

An inland spousal application prepared so the applicant could work while the file was processed, and approved without a request for further evidence.

Every case turns on its own facts. Past outcomes do not guarantee future results, and we will always give you a realistic view of yours.
